While waxing involves removing hair directly from the root, any discomfort is temporary and usually fades immediately. As we exclusively use hard wax for sensitive areas, the process is gentler because the wax adheres only to the hair and not the skin itself. For first-time guests, the initial session may feel the most intense, but rest assured, with consistent, regular appointments, the hair grows back finer and sparser, making future sessions significantly more comfortable and quicker!

For the wax to effectively grip the hair and remove it cleanly from the root, your hair should be at least 1/4 inch long. This is roughly the size of a grain of rice. For most people, this means waiting about two to four weeks after your last shave or five to six weeks after your last wax. If the hair is too short, the wax won't grab it; if it is too long, we will simply trim it for you during your service.

Yes, absolutely! Waxing is generally safe during all stages of pregnancy. However, due to hormonal changes and increased blood flow, your skin may be significantly more sensitive during this time. Please be sure to let your esthetician know you are pregnant when booking and during your appointment so they can take extra care to make you comfortable.

You can typically expect your smooth results to last anywhere from three to six weeks. This duration depends heavily on your natural hair growth cycle and the area being waxed. We recommend scheduling your follow-up appointments every four to five weeks to catch the hair at the perfect growth stage. With consistent waxing, you will notice your hair growing back thinner, softer, and slower over time, extending your smooth period!

The primary difference is the coverage area:
Bikini Line Wax: This removes hair from the areas that would peek out from a standard bikini bottom or underwear—typically along the upper thigh crease and a small amount off the top.
Brazilian Wax: This is a much more comprehensive service that removes all hair from the pubic region, front to back, including the labia and anal area. Clients may choose to leave a small strip or triangle of hair on the front if desired.
